=1: Working with Astrology.
Michael Harding and Charles Harvey. Arkana 1990.

A great astrology book that will open up so much for any astrologer. This can be taken as a course on Midpoints, AstroCartoGraphy and Harmonics. If you are unfamiliar with these areas of astrology, this is where you can learn. There are nuggets of delineation that stay with you, superb explanations, wonderful graphic illustrations and examples chosen that should convince any astrologer of the need to learn to work with astrology in the manner described. Everything is set out in great clarity and order. The book builds skills to the point where the reader can test what has been learned in a fascinating case study.

It introduced me to an enlarged astrological universe which included midpoints, harmonics and AstroCartoGraphy. It was published as the computer revolution was really starting to influence astrology, around the time astrologers were first getting their hands on software which allowed the generation of graphic ephemerides, midpoint sorts and harmonic charts. If you have a decent astrological software package but you don’t use or fully understand these functions, you should buy this book. If you don’t get a grip on these ideas, your astrology is liable to remain two as opposed to three-dimensional.
