Leo

This is the sign most connected to fun, pure and simple. Leo can be life lived as a game and, given this, there is often something rather childish about them. In fact, Leos usually relate very well to children and having children and/or working with children often marks positive change for this sign.

Leos love to be the best. They are the zodiac's most natural performers and creators and like to advertise the fact, because life for a Leo is in someway lived on stage. If their creative, showy instincts are frustrated they can have terrible ego problems resulting in tantrums or a kind of dark inner-implosion. Look out for the overly introspective Leo; these people are not so natural at looking within as are, say, Virgo or Scorpio. Leos that do not go out and show-off or make children or create in some way can lose that fantastic 'life is for living' vibe that central to their way of life.

These people are made to shine. They want everyone to come out and play. The upside is more pessimistic types around them get a lift and life gets far more upbeat and joyous. The downside is dealing with the side effects of bossiness and egotism. Leos can teach others a lot about living from the heart; it's just that everyone else has to let them have a chance to be a radiant Princess or King of the Castle from time to time. A small price to pay for having these classy, generous types knocking around the place and making life much more enjoyable.

Madonna has demanded attention from the world for decades, reinventing her persona time and again; sometimes showing off rather too much. Her creativity has extended from her initial life as a pop star, to forays into film and more recently as a children's author.

An undoubted star, she continues to love putting on a show, as was seen at her Live8 performance. In recent years she has become much more settled as a mother who writes for children and as a member of the UK's landed gentry. She still loves dressing up and showing off, but seems to have found a place where she belongs, where attention and fame are less important to her.
